As a driver in the RLC do you get to choose what regiment you can join (where you’re based)? My boyfriend is based in London as a guard and I would preferably like to be based as close as I can to him, is this possible?

Hi, You can ask to be posted to certain parts of the country but it is not guaranteed that this will happen.

How often do drivers travel? And are the sporting opportunities greater in the RLC than in any other regiment?

  • Anonymous

Hi in the six years I have been in the army I have been all over the world. We do have a lot of sport in the RLC, I would say there are more opportunity's as there are more places you can go to play sport within the RLC
