Zach T. asked a question to Tori C.
Dear Tori, I have a question relating to eyesight requirments. I am currently awaiting my GP to return my medical records but I have submitted my opticians reports, to which my prescription is... LEFT EYE - Sph = -10 - Cyl = -5 - Axis = 175 RIGHT EYE - Sph = -11.75 - Cyl = -5.75 - Axis = 179 I have been previously diagnosed with Retinoschisis, but it does not interfere with any task. Additionally, the role I will be applying for is operator technical intelligence. Do I have any chance at getting accepted? Thank you.
Zach,
We cant give specific medical advice on here, please see bellow a list of medical issues that can delay or disqualify you.
This page contains a brief sample guide to some of the conditions that might stop or delay you being able to join, however this is not an exhaustive list. You can still apply to join the army even if your medical history includes one or more of these conditions. Your application will be assessed on its own merits against medical standards for entry.

Hello, ah right okay. I will apply and await a decision. Thank you
Hello, my application to join Harrogate was rejected because of my eye sight. I am hoping to become a combat medic, or an engineer. Am hoping for some advice please.
