Hi, Iâm writing about eyesight requirements for the BA. I previously was applying but pulled out from the process after getting my optometrist report filled out, and finding Iâm at +6.25 dioptreâs (Failing the requirement for -6.00 to +6.00). Iâm curious to if that +0.25 would be enough to fail me in the medical at the assessment center if I were to restart my application. Many thanks.
Hi, if you can fill out the medical question and can honestly say that what you are stating is honest, then give it a go. May be you had a bad day at the opticians and that may have affected it. Ultimately you've got to be honest (it's also one of the Army values and standards) If you get to Assessment Centre and fail the eye sight test then you fail it but i guess you have nothing to lose.
