Entering as army nurse

If I was to apply during my nursing degree would I be able to be studying a dual qualified adult and child nursing course and if so would I still be able to apply for the bursary as the course is 4 years instead of 3

    Hi Julia,

Whilst i realize it may appear somewhat backwards. The way to ultimately find out is by applying. You'll be dealt with the much smaller but in the know Officer recruitment team.

If you are already at Uni, it would be worth inquiring as to the set up. In the form of the University Officer Training Corps (UOTC)

many Uni's have this, with the aim of joining on completion of your degree whilst also earning a daily wage it could be a valuable initial step.

As mentioned above you should look to see if the UOTC is an option at your current uni as they will help aid with other aspects of your application.

Although you may still be eligible for a bursary you would have to apply as mentioned.

In regards to becoming dual qualified this would be something sorted through your own university the Army does not do paediatric nursing but if you are already qualified in that field then the army may help with the rest of it. If you are studying a dual qualification course the army might not be able to fund or only partially fund the course should you be eligible. for more clarification you should apply or call 0345 600 80 80 for more information as they should be able to direct and guide you further.
