Due to start my Basic training in September and I’ve just found out my partner is pregnant. Can I still start training?

Congratulations!
You can still start training, but you may want to discuss with your partner and the careers centre if this is still the best option for you: from Basic Training until you complete Initial Trade Training you won't have a lot of spare time to be able to support your partner. You won't be eligible for paternity leave and pay until you complete 26 weeks continuous service.
