    Hey,

It really depends on where you're posted as to how much you will get away using the trade. For e.g. if you were to decide that being an Engineer Commando was of interest to you, and you posted to 24 Commando Engineer Regiment, you will like deploy at some point to the Caribbean. This Regiment deploy on a job called HADR, it stands for Humanitarian and Disaster Relief. If this was the case you would absolutely be using your trade ensuring that plant operator have a good lay of the land prior to building and construction works being carried out. At other units you will also use your trade, but thought this would be a good example based on your question.

    Warm Regards,
