The Royal Corps of Army Music employ percussionists however candidates must be Grade 6 standard and must also demonstrate proficiency in tuned percussion. The Corps of Drums, which are part of infantry battalions, offer training to those with no prior musical experience and will be taught how to play the side drum, bugle and flute at the School of Ceremonial.
