I think only you can answer that! It depends what you want from joining the army or your reasons and motivations for joining. If you want to join and aren't being coerced into it then you must be thinking positively about the Army? The experience you then have in some will be rubbish (in training - early mornings, lack of sleep, being told what to do etc) but you might have some amazing experiences, visit different countries, gain qualifications whilst being paid a pretty good salary to do it! I think there's more perks to being in the army than not but i'm biased as i love being in and have been for 17 years!
