Does HCMR go in armoured vehicles as well or is that just HCR? Also how do I apply for HCMR there only seems to be HCR?

Hi there, this is a good question. HCR and HCMR are pretty much the same regiment in that they draw from the same group of soldiers but are distinct in the roles they perform.

Troopers in the Household Cavalry are trained to drive and operate armoured vehicles, gathering information about the enemy and carrying out fast attacks. They also spend time in the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, taking part in famous public events on horseback. It's one of the most varied and famous roles in the Army.

To join the HCMR you must join the HCR and can expect to undertake time in both ceremonial and operational roles.
