Does DAOR applicable after basic training and just starting first ever posting but within DAOR window?

This would depend on how old you are if over 18 and you have completed basic training then you are on your 3/4 year contract, if under 18 you have until your 18th birthday to still DAOR.

Thank you for your reply. My terms of enlistment did not really stipulate that DAOR is exclusively for basic training only. Where can I find this information please?

Your CoC at Basic Training will have made the DAOR process clear. If you're still in any doubt you should ask your CoC to book a meeting with your RCMO to discuss your ToS.
