Hi all 3 are very similar just in different locations. 6 Regt is up in Dishforth, 9 Regt in Chippenham and 27 regt in Aldershot.
Most units have a similar schedule, working roughly 8 til 5 most days during the working day they will encorporate PT. Depending on the trade your in depends on what your up to, drivers will likely be maintaining vehicles and conducting takings, communication specialists will maintain their vehicles, radios and conduct continuation training. So on so forth. Wednesdays tend to be sports afternoon, all 3 of these Regts are big competitors within our sports. All take turns on deployment, and travel that's available.
How much you volunteer for things and put yourself out there will depend on how much opportunity you get to go away as sometimes there may be only so many that can go away somewhere.
