Does anyone find the 2km difficult?

I'm currently running it at around 12 minutes

Everyone is different, if you keep practising and recording your time it will get easier

I am currently trying to train for it and I am also trying to improve my timing, you are not alone in being over target limit.

Do you do run any hills?

I’d recommend mixing up long distance runs/sprints/hill reps. These are all beneficial for improving your time

Whilst ive been training i do one day where i do hill drills, i run for 500 meters to get to the hill, then i run up the hill at about 50% and jog back down i do this repeatedly and have noticed my time coming down. i only used to run a flat route and had a 13 minute time but after running hills it dropped to 12 after doing a run with hills

You might want to focus on core strength as well, because to run you have to have a stable core. my personal trainer taught me that and he's an army pt instructor

Right I shall keep that in mind thakyou, I am mostly running roads currenlty so perhaps hills might help me as well.

To build stamina try doing long runs, go for a 20 to 30 minute run but dont worry about the time just keep a steady pace. Also make sure to rest up cause you can over work yourself and it doesnt help you improve at all
