anywhere in the world is allowed
As a recovery Mechanic you get the both of best worlds. One moment you could be carrying out your duties in and around your base/home unit location, then next you could be requested to deploy forward to provide support when and where ever required. It's a challenging and exiting role, one that requires an element of 'robustness' and mental agility like many of the roles in the British Army. The best thing about the job is that you get to travel far and wide and you will see a lot more of the countries you visit than a lot of your colleagues who are based primarily 'behind the wire' (on base) as we say.
