Yes, absolutely. Pay in the Armed Forces is based on rank and trade, not gender or age, and is therefore completely fair. In addition, promotion is based on merit, ability and suitability for the next rank so it is up to the individual how hard and well you work and therefore you succed based on your performance and the opportunities you take.
