do you still have time to see mates and people from outside work so relationships dont get ruined

Hope you’re well.
There is plenty of scope to head home to see friends and family, obviously depending on what your unit or you as a soldier is on or forecast to do.
There are times when you will be busy preparing for exercise or operations but you’ll find yourself home most weekends. Not including leave periods of summer, Easter and Christmas.
