do you stay/get the choice to stay at the same battalion throughout your army career? dont want to leave N.Ireland
i do not want to leave my family, friends or girlfriend, i live in northern ireland so i would want to join 2 rifles, iâm wondering would i need to leave 2 rifles for a different battalion at some point throughout my career.

Unfortunately it cannot be guaranteed you will remain in the same location throughout your career. This is for a variety of reasons including promotion, available spaces and also even 2 RIFLES moving home base.
