Do you have to travel for deployment or can you be solely based in the UK?

Samantha, thanks for your question.
The British Army deploys all over the world. If your unit or the unit you are attached to deploys then you will deploy too. The British Army has interests in U.K. mainland aswell as overseas.
There are incredible opportunities to travel and see various countries across the globe. Some countries people could only dream of going and you go for free with the army.
However, there are plenty of job opportunities within the U.K.
