I have a diagnoses of depression but I am currently studying biomedicine and am interested in joining the army once I have finished my studies I was just wondering if this is an issue
Any job role within the army requires you to be a soldier or an officer so all medical rules apply to both categories. As for specific illnesses or conditions it will be up to the medical team to decide. Individuals are looked at on a case by case basis and only the medical team have a say weather you are eligible or not. If you are interested then you can put in your application through the Army website. Just because you apply doesn't mean you have to join but they will be able to tell you if you're eligible or not and you will be allocated someone to follow you through the application process.
