Do officers take the army cognitive test or a different set of psychometric tests?

Thanks for your question. Officers will attend the Army Officer Selection Board (AOSB) at Westbury, here they will do a series of Leadership Assessments, Written tests, Interviews and Psychometric tests. If you google AOSB it will give you an idea of what they have to do, it will also depend on the Capbadge you are proposing to join. For Example, the AAC has separate tests for those wishing to become a pilot. Hopefully that helps though.
