Do I have to take additional tests before applying for the Officer pilot position? If so what are they?
Hi, Madeline! Hope everything is well. I am a bit confused about the whole application process and if I am even qualified for the position. I am currently 20 years old and studying at NWU in South Africa, which I know is part of the Commonwealth. I still have about one and a half years of studying left. I am planning to apply after my studies and I was wondering at what time of the year will be the best time to apply for this position? Also, do I have to take any additional tests before my application for this position? If so, what are they? Or will I take the tests needed during my training? What can I do to prepare? I know I don't have to because everything will be dealt with in training but I want to do everything I can to qualify for this position before and during training. Kerstin.

Hi Kerstin, To join as a pilot there is two test you will need to complete, One is The Pilot aptitude test and the other is a medical examination.
