I am currently doing my A-Levels and wondering if I were an apprentice Intelligence Analyst, would I also have to study at a university?
Hi, great question. The army has many opportunities to study at various levels and it depends on what trade you do, at what level, how that study might be conducted. Usually as an apprentice it's on the job training and a training provider would come to assess you on the job. The theory / academic element would usually be done online, you might have a tutor or it might be in house with the training provider face to face. Some job roles require you to study at uni - ie if you were to join as a nurse you would do Army basic training and then go to uni for 3 years (paid for by the army whilst you are also getting paid). The beauty with any level of qualification you gain through the army for your job role, you don't pay (it's funded by the Army) and you get your full salary.
I hope that helps explain.
