I been doing a bit of internet research and on one page, it showed that Grenadier guards do more ceremonial duites than other Guards regiments and they have their own Nejmegen company near Buckingham Palace. Is that true?
They have a ceremonial company, like the coldstream and Scots guards. Queens guards are split between all of the guards regiments. They will rotate through periods where other regiments have operational and overseas requirements.
Ceremonial is conducted with near enough all of the army, you will see various regiments such as rlc, Gurkhas and marines outside the palaces.
Hope this helps
