do girls have to do training alongside the boys? just asking as it can be embarrassing in front of people you don’t know

Hi and thank you for your question.
As all combat roles are now open to females, there will be mixed training at the Infantry Training Centre. Mixed training already takes place successfully at the various basic training training centres ( ATR Winchester, ATR Pirbright and AFC Harrogate )
Being 16, you will go to Army Foundation College in Harrogate where the platoons are mixed. Obviously depending on your age on enlistment.
