Do combat medics carry specific kits or generic for operations

There is a set list of what a CMT may routinely carry. Most CMTs will adjust this kit as they need to in discussion with their clinical team. For example a CMT in the jungle might need slightly different kit to a CMT on exercise in Norway.
You asked specifically regarding blood packs. It depends what you mean by this, but packed red blood cells would not routinely be carried by a CMT. Some CMTs may be trained in how to give blood transfusions, and carry equipment to assist with this, but it will depend on the environment they are working in.
