Hi, great question and one that people often wonder about. Ultimately each OCdt needs to have 2 choices at the Regimental Selection Board (RSB) (middle term at RMAS) so a Corps will always be someones 2nd choice. Fortunately nowadays there's no requirement to tell the Corps they are your 2nd choice and sometimes you really can't decide and are really torn between the 2. You will have your own reasons for why you have chosen those 2 and they might be totally opposite ends of the spectrum of choice (Educational Corps and Paras for example). It's important to remember that the Corps / Regts don't hold it against individuals if you have chosen them as your no.2 as, like i said, you'll have your reasons for them being your 2nd choice. As long as you have done your reseach and happy with both your choices RMAS/Corps/Regts will support that.
