Do ammunition technicians continue to work as IEDD operators as warrant officers?
I've heard promotion can be relatively quick in this trade and I wondered if they kept doing this aspect of the job so that their regiments don't lose experienced operators.

Hi there,
The Ammunition Technicians remain pretty hands on throughout their promotion from my experience. They will take on some of the more managerial tasks as part of their role as they progress but won't be completely hands off unless in a training role.
