Do accept Nurse Associates into the medical reserves?

The reserves have the same job roles as regulars, associates do not fall under this category however it is a new role so the nursing corp may cater for this. As they normally have their own recruitment process you would need to talk to their recruitment team. Your local army careers centre should be able to help with this.
