Iâm thinking of moving on from civilian policing and looking to join the RMP (aged 23) any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not in the RMP, but I forwarded your question to one of our RMP officers, their reply is below.
'The similarities in Policing will be obvious. The key difference is the wider elements of what the RMP provide in War and Training for War. Governing and advising on Prisoner of War and Captured Persons as well as Mobility Support to an Armoured Formation are both examples of our wider responsibilities. We also provide Close Protection Operatives to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Defence.'
