Couple questions about the Tank Crew role.

Once you complete the initial training and Dorset training (step 1&2) what would the normal day to day activities be? Are you constrained to a location after the training? If so, where would that be?

Hello. "A normal day" can vary depending on what is needed of your unit at the time. There will be an emphasis on physical training and your operational role as tank crew man which will mean physical training (PT) most mornings and vehicle maintenance of your units vehicles. When on exercise you will be practising your role in combat and basically driving a tank around which I though was really very cool.

You could find yourself doing some extra ordinary things like I spent time as a diving instructor teaching people how to look at fish in Croatia, skydiving in Canada or flood defence and delivering foreign aid. There is so much you could choose to do its difficult for anyone to predict where a career in the army will go.

If you have any other question please let me know. Thanks.
