Hi Cameron, what’s your question?
So could I join harrogate college when I leave school, if so what are the chances of me actually getting in
Hi Cameron,
Thanks for clarifying the question.
First of all you’ll need to check that you’re eligible to join the British Army. You’ll need to be a British or Irish citizen, healthy, and willing to get reasonably fit.
Time is quite tight for you to start this year so you’ll need to take some steps quite quickly. Firstly you would need to register your interest to join online so that a recruiter can get in contact with you to talk through your options and the process.
You can start your application when you're 15 years and 7 months, but you won't be able to go to the assessment centre until you're at least 15 years and 9 months old.
If you are under 17 years 6 months you will attend Army Foundation College, as a Junior Solider, before starting Standard Entry training.
If you google “British Army Recruitment Process” and go to the British Army website you can start your application today.
Good luck and please feel free to come back to us with any further questions.
