Civilian qualifications as a CMT
Hi, I'm currently looking at joining with the intent of becoming a CMT in the near future and was wondering if there Is a Civilian equivalent to the training, I'm a FREC 3 myself but have friends who are paramedics who have said they would be happy to help me bridge any gaps before joining

CMT does not give you a formal recognised qualification however you can work your way up to ambulance associate practitioner or paramedic however competition for these course are tough and there are only a limited number of spaces per year.
