Hi, it really doesn't matter about his GCSE results just yet. Obviously the better he does the more job options would open up for him. It's worth applying now online, and start the ball rolling without his GCSE results. He would look to go to the Army Foundation College in Harrogate (North Yorkshire) as he's U18. By the time he's got through the medical questions, been allocated an Candidate Support Manager he'll have his GCSE results. Hope that helps.
