Most Definitely!!! Whilst based in Colchester for the first 4 years of my career I worked alongside and assisted Essex Police in numerous incidents. The process in the way we do things is slightly different but all the skills and knowledge you learn is transferable.
So you are aware your apprenticeship in Defence Policing is not officially recognised by Civilian Police as a qualification to transfer directly, you would still have to go through the application process. However you will have a valuable set of skills and life experience that will set you above the rest if you were to look at Civilian police after a career in the RMP.
Hope this helps.
