Can you tell me what your first year was like?
I really want to go into a combat role but I'm just looking for a insight into what to expect after training

Everyone’s year will differ depending on job choice.
My first year consisted of a jungle training exercise to Belize followed by 5 days R&R to Cancun, Mexico
3 weeks Christmas leave
Back to back overseas exercises to Canada and Germany
2 weeks summer leave then in to Pre deployment training ready to deploy on operations.
There will also be adventurous training, sport and courses available within that period.
Time flies when your having fun!
