Likes combat (weaponry), medical (frontline), paras, ceremonial, working with aviation and future aim to instruct at training centre.
Hi, the army has a huge variety of job roles and there are ways to combine roles (ie trade (REME Armourer), then do P Company (higher liklihood of working with the Paras), whilst also doing one of many medical courses). Some units you wouldn't necessarily think of do ceremonial, for example relatively recently a unit from the Royal Signals did ceremonial duties. Any soldier, if they aspire to it and as long as they show an aptitude for instructing could work in a training unit from Corporal level. My advice would be look at the army website or pop into a local Army Careers Office and speak to someone about main interests - you can't do everything. REME stands out for this given the weaponry side and aviation (aviation tech) - this all however depends on the quals (GCSEs etc) that individual has or is expected to get.
