The current requirement is to be 1 year clear from symptoms and medication from. If you are still currently being prescribed medication it would be worth talking to your doctor first before cancelling it, this is regardless if you have taken them or not. This will not guarantee that you can join the Army as you would still need to meet the rest of the requirements. But it would be a good place to start.

You can qualify for all roles if you have no breathing issues and are clear from medication for a year. You would also need to meet all educational criteria and will also be required to complete a spirometry during you medical and pass the assessment centre.
