    Hello,

If you are a qualified nurse then you may be able to apply directly as an officer. All the possible joining options are on our website https://apply.army.mod.uk/roles/army-medical-service/army-nurse .
When you apply the team will go through the options with you and advise on which route most suits your knowledge and experience (both in nursing and leadership/management).

If you do join as a soldier, you may be given the option of commissioning at some point during your career. This will be in discussion with your chain of command (line managers) and career manager. Not all soldiers will commission, and those who do, may do so at various points in their career, there is no set time line.

Best of luck with your application.
