Hello, I'm not sure what you're referring to with GDMO, but I can tell you that you'll have a "Discharge As Of Right" (DAOR) window that exists for those who feel the Army really isn't for them. The window varies depending on your situation, but it is normally starts after your first 28 days and ends after your third month (i.e. during Basic Training, but you have to complete 28 days).
After your DAOR window closes you'll be subject to the contract you've signed, so you'll have agreed to serve a minimum of 4 years.
