Hi there,
Whilst the cadets are a brilliant way to gain experience and knowledge of military life, and you can work your way through the cadet rank system, you cannot carry over your rank once you join the army.
The majority of soldiers will commence their careers as either private (or equivalent) or Lance Corporal (for example, if you were to join the Royal Military Police) once they have finished training.
Many serving soldiers have been a member of the cadets and found the experience invaluable and beneficial, especially during the first few weeks of Basic Phase 1 training. So my advice is take what you've learnt into your military career, and help others along the way!
Hope that helps and good luck going forward in the future
