Can you confirm where you'll be placed?
My wife has a career, is there any way we can determine my placement at a barracks closer to where I currently live?

Hi,
You will get a posting preference where you can request locations or units. This depends on what role you are joining, infantry units are set and you don’t get a posting preference but for example, if you are going as a clerk you will have the option to get attached to someone for instance, in Bristol etc. You won’t always get your preference and your first unit you have very little say.
