I have gone for a role that requires no GCSEs, If get my GCSE results in Aug can I change to another role before phase 1 if I make get the GCSEs? I understand it would depend if the role is available. or would I need to wait until the next in take in March? Any help would be great.

Hello, Great question!

The best thing that I would do in that situation is to speak to your Candidate support manager. In reference to this as they will be able to best advise you. As we have different training establishments for different roles for example Infantry will go to Infantry Training Centre (17+) or Army Foundation College Harrogate (16 - 17.5 - All roles) whilst Army Air Corps will go to either Army Training Center Pribright or Army Training Regiment Winchester.

So you may have to wait until a next intake for Basic Training but this depends on the role you have chosen to join as. But it is definitely worth speaking to your Candidate support manager in regards to this.
