Can you become a Veterinary Specialist (ECC) whilst in the army? Or would you need to do your residency before joining?

Specialist areas are often funded by the Army if there is a need and requirement for it. For this you would need to justify the reason, if approved then you may have a return of service clause within your contract to recoup the money spent on you for your training. If you are already qualified in that field then there would be no need for this to happen and you would still be able to operate to that capacity if required.
