If you wish to join post FY2 I would recommend applying during your FY1. You won't join until after FY2, but the application process can take over a year to get through, so it is best to start it early!

You cannot join before or during FY1&2, only doctors with a bursary from medical school are employed by the military during FY1&2.

I am not too sure from your question whether you are a British citizen who has studied abroad, or if you have another nationality. If this is the case, please do check your eligibility to join as well https://apply.army.mod.uk/how-to-join/can-i-join

Hello officer, thank you for your prompt reply. Just wanted to clarify this, since only bursary related FY1/FY2 or specialist entry was mentioned on the website entry requirements. I am a British citizen of Nepalese ethnicity so will be eligible to apply for the post. Thanks again for your advice, looking forward to process my application soon during the next few years.
