It is possible to transfer in the Army up to 3 times but you need to have good reasons. To learn new trades is probably not the best reason but letting you transfer is entirely up to your chain of command.

Albert you need to do your research prior to joining and when your in the application process and chose the right job for you first time. Yes on paper you can transfer but it is very difficult. There is a high amount of public money (taxpayers money) spent on training you up in a specific job role. So ultimately the answer to your question is no you can not just jump from one job to another and once your in a role you would hopefully not want to do this anyway. Phone or call in your local Army careers office for advice on applying if you have not done so already.
