Can I join without being British? Also is there an application deadline like when applying for universities?

I have no English blood and was born in Slovakia. But I have lived here for more than 15 years, am I able to join? A while ago an ex recruitment officer said that I've lived here for long enough so should be able to join?

Hi Samuel,
You need to be a British Citizen to apply which you are eligible to apply for because of the length of time you have been here but must have in place prior to applying. In terms of applications, there are no deadlines for applications and we recruit all year round. -

Great thanks for the answer. Just wanted to add, can I apply all year round if I want to be an officer or soldier, does that apply to both?

Yes all year round for both as we have assessment and entrance at different points throughout the year. There are three officer intakes (Sept, Jan and May) and multiple soldier intakes throughout the year.
