Can I join with mild keratoconus in both eyes I only ask as I’ve been told that they have become lenient recently.

Unfortunately we can`t give medical advice on here. However all applications are taken case by case, so I would advise applying and going through the process to find out, better to apply and know where you stand than not apply and never know for sure.
This link shows a list of things that can delay or disqualify you however you can still apply to join the army even if your medical history includes one or more of these conditions. Your application will be assessed on its own merits against medical standards for entry.
