Can I join the army as a reserve and then later apply for the veterinary bursary & switch roles?

Hello there!
You can absolutely do so as long as you meet the academic requirements for the bursary. I have worked with colleagues who have done exactly that and even continued their reserve service in the previous role throughout university before then switching on graduation. It would hold you in really good stead to have that experience when applying.
