Johannes P. asked a question to David O.
Hi, absolutely. The Army will provide you accommodation, whether it be single living accommodation (a furnished room with en suite) or a house (if you are in a long term relationship or married). The New Accommodation Model is about to come out across the MOD and is designed to make both military and private rental houses more accessible to more people. When you are in the army you will be encouraged to save to buy a house (and the MOD offer 'Forces Help to Buy (you can google it for more info) but is basically very low interest loan to go towards buying a house and will pay for buyers fees you will encounter on buying a house) but there are lots of people in the army who don't own a house - at all ranks, including senior officers.
