Can I focus on tech in a combat role?
I've been considering joining for a while now and one of my issues is if there's actually a role that suits me. I'd want a combat role but I want to specialise in tech, though things like drones don't interest me. So far only the 14 Signals got my attention but I don't know if they see much combat.

Potential to join something along the lines of The Household Cavalry, they have the new and improved AJAX. Worth a look.
Typically Combat roles will not have tech based roles though. They tend to have better fighting Soldiers, where as those of us with Apprenticeships/Tech orientated roles have the best of both worlds.
It might surprise you to know that even though I'm Logistics, I've gained more Combat experience then alot of Combat Roles. It swings in round abouts as to what Operational Commitments each unit as at any given time.
