Can I enlist if I have previously taken anxiety meds and how long do I need to be off them?
Both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer during the first COVID lockdown so it was a series of unfortunate events, pleased to say they both back at 100% health and so am I, wondering how this would effect my enlistment.

Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear about your situation, I can imagine that would have been very tough. The best way to get an answer on this would be submitting an application so that our team can review your medical records and give you bespoke advice.
However to give a very general steer, in those cases where it is clear that the condition was brief and triggered by significant life stress then a candidate may be graded FIT as long as they have been symptom and treatment-free for at least 1 year.
